Community Living Toronto changes the lives of people with an intellectual disability by giving them a voice and supporting their choices where they live, learn, work and play.
What began as a grass roots organization in1948, created by parents to provide community-based alternatives to placing their children in institutions, has since grown to be the largest social service organization of its kind in North America. Community Living Toronto is a leader in developing innovative and traditional supports for adults, youth, children and families with intellectual disabilities and their families. Our programs focus on person-centred planning, which engages individuals who have an intellectual disability in identifying their work, volunteer, leisure and recreational interests and goals.
Our Day Supports website offers information about employment training, career opportunities and skill development for individuals with an intellectual disability. Click here to visit the website.
