POSITION:  REGIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR  
 
                                
QUALIFICATIONS:  

Progressive and extensive management and clinical experience in the developmental services or related fields along with graduate degree in human services or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Regional Executive Director is a member of Management Council, participating in the overall management of all
services within the Region, as well as a select number of Association wide programs and supports.  The incumbent represents the Association to its members, funders, partners and broader community and in doing so exhibits strong strategic thinking and collaborative leadership skills. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Within the framework developed by Management Council, and reporting to Chief Executive Officer, responsibilities
include:

  • Planning, development, evaluation and management of all services within the Region.
  • Overall supervision of staff and volunteers.
  • Providing and promoting leadership in new directions, initiatives and organizational changes.
  • Supporting the Regional Council and various Board Committees in achieving their goals.


STARTING DATE:  To be determined

SALARY:  Commensurate with experience
